About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Lettings Manager to join our team at Rayner Personnel - Property Recruitment. As a Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for conducting property valuations, generating business opportunities, and cultivating relationships with landlords, tenants, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough property valuations to determine optimal rental prices.
  • Develop and implement effective business strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and external agencies to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with legal standards and maintaining upkeep.
  • Coordinate property viewings, negotiate rental agreements, and facilitate property inspections and maintenance as needed.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to fill vacant properties with suitable tenants.
  • Manage rental payments, deposits, and arrears efficiently.
  • Stay informed of rental market trends to advise landlords on pricing strategies.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to the lettings portfolio.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in property management, delivering outstanding customer service, and achieving targets.
  • Thorough understanding of property management regulations, tenancy law, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in property management software and systems.
  • Proactive and results-driven, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant qualifications such as ARLA Propertymark membership are advantageous.
