About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Jaluch HR & Training. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading civil engineering projects from conception through execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Oversee all project stages, from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs, ensuring the successful planning and design of civil engineering projects.
  • Feasibility Assessment: Perform due diligence to evaluate the feasibility of various construction methods, selecting the most efficient and cost-effective approach.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee all aspects of the project, including surveyors and subcontractors on-site, to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Project Efficiency: Perform cost estimations, prepare project budgets, and allocate resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.
  • Quality and Safety: Conduct inspections of completed projects to verify compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Transparency: Document processes meticulously and present clear project progress updates to senior managers and clients, fostering transparency and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 5 years' experience of UK marine construction and/or engineering.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • A working knowledge of marine plant and lifting equipment.
  • Some knowledge of the offshore construction industry.
  • A solid understanding of HSE standards, regulations, reporting procedures, risk assessment, and method statement requirements.
  • Familiarity with planning software and running the site cost forecast.
  • The ability to work proactively within the team in generating marketing leads and maintaining client relationships.
