About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at Jaluch HR & Training. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading civil engineering projects from conception to execution, ensuring feasibility, efficient delivery, quality, on-time completion, and open communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Civil Project Execution: Oversee all project stages, from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs, ensuring the successful planning and design of civil engineering projects.
  • Manage Project Delivery: Oversee all aspects of the project, including surveyors and subcontractors on-site, to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Drive Project Efficiency: Perform cost estimations, prepare project budgets, and allocate resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.
  • Deliver on Time and Budget: Develop and maintain work schedules to ensure civil engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Guarantee Quality and Safety: Conduct inspections of completed projects to verify compliance with industry codes, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Document processes meticulously and present clear project progress updates to senior managers and clients, fostering transparency and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5 years' experience of UK marine construction and/or engineering
  • A degree in Civil Engineering
  • A working knowledge of marine plant and lifting equipment
  • Some knowledge of the offshore construction industry
  • A solid understanding of HSE standards, regulations, reporting procedures, risk assessment and method statement requirements
  • Familiarity with planning software and running the site cost forecast
