Restaurant General Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our casual dining restaurant in Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the restaurant's daily operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a high standard of personal appearance and a hands-on approach to management.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure effective staffing levels and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labour costs, and wastage figures to ensure they are within company parameters.
  • Implement effective staff training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume dining setting at a managerial level.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving profitability.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
  • High standard of personal appearance and a hands-on approach to management.
  • Ambitious and open to continual development.
What We Offer:
  • Up to £37K per annum.
  • 48 hours per week on a 5 over 7 pattern (including weekends).
