We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our casual dining restaurant in Doncaster. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the restaurant's daily operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure effective restaurant management and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and control food costs, labour costs, and wastage figures to ensure they are within company parameters.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a high standard of personal appearance and a hands-on approach to management.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Minimum two years of experience in a similar role within a high-volume dining setting at a managerial level.
- Proven track record of success in managing a team and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
- Ambitious and open to continual development, with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- A competitive salary of up to £37K per annum.
- A 48-hour working week on a 5-over-7 pattern, with opportunities to work weekends.
- An excellent induction programme and development opportunities.
