  • Client Management: Ensure that clients receive an exceptional service, exceeding their expectations throughout the year.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with client partners and internal staff to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues.
  • Audit Work and Budgeting: Conduct audits and set budgets, demonstrating awareness of commercial aspects of clients' businesses.
  • Staff Management: Organize staff on jobs, ensuring each individual is clear on expectations and timescales, is properly trained, and receives constructive feedback.
  • Business Development: Prepare proposals for new work, attend relevant marketing events, present at seminars, and develop personal contacts and opportunities with current clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).
  • Experience: Significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment.
  • Business Type: Experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB, SME, and AIM listed clients.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, strong communication skills, and previous experience of management and motivation of staff.
