About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with expertise in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) to join our team at Salter Grange, a leading MEP Contractor delivering innovative projects within the residential, hospitality, education, commercial, and healthcare sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and evaluating supplier and sub-contractor enquiries to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts to maintain project profitability and minimize risks.
  • Providing data and analysis of issues and risks to inform project decisions and mitigate potential problems.
  • Dealing with sub-contractors on variations, final accounts, and other contractual matters to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Submitting valuations and agreeing with the main contractor/client to ensure accurate project costing and payment.
  • Submitting and agreeing variations with the main contractor/client to reflect changes in project scope and requirements.
  • Agreeing final accounts with the main contractor to ensure project closure and payment.
  • Reporting project performance internally to inform business decisions and improve future project delivery.
Requirements
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of commercial experience in M&E projects.
  • Self-motivated with a positive work attitude and a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
