About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Technical Architect to join our team at Shape IT Recruitment. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing medium to large-scale architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Architecture Solutions: Develop and implement secure, high-assurance systems for major industry clients.
  • Lead Technical Design Discussions: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth transitions from design to delivery.
  • Ensure Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with data practices, security frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Identify Non-Functional Requirements: Integrate non-functional requirements into technical designs.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth transitions from design to delivery.
  • Stay Ahead of Emerging Trends: Shape technical standards and stay ahead of emerging trends in cloud, web, and application technologies.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in infrastructure design, preferably with TOGAF or similar frameworks.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with technologies like VMware, Windows (SharePoint, Exchange), and security solutions (SIEM, MFA, PKI).
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of Secure by Design and Zero Trust Principles.
  • Background: Background in Defence settings is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities for a small, dynamic team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a passion for tackling complex challenges.
Security Clearance

Candidates must possess or be eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance, with potential to obtain UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
