Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications using a software engineering approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using a software engineering approach
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of software engineering processes and tools
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices
  • Experience of software engineering lifecycle processes and tools
  • Knowledge of Open Systems Architectures and Principles
  • Ability to solve complex problems and critically review results and methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience of working in the Defence or Military industry
  • Knowledge of Java, C++, or other programming languages
  • Experience of software configuration management
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 and TickITplus standards
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC level minimum)
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
