About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Adult Nurse, Paediatric Nurse, or Paramedic to join our team at Pilgrim Accident and Emergency Department as a Band 6 Nurse/Paramedic. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior nursing professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care without supervision.
  • Lead and monitor the performance and standards of care within the Nursing Team.
  • Take the lead on projects as appropriate.
  • Facilitate the development of the service and personal development of all nursing staff within the clinical area of responsibility.

Person Specification
  • Active on NMC/HCPC register.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Evidence of continuing education & professional development.
  • Appropriate mentor qualification or equivalent teaching qualification.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in related subject.
  • ALS.
  • EPALS.
