Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join our team at Dabster. As a Technical Analyst, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our sports applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Design teams to update and improve our sports applications.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the application architecture and dependencies, and provide analysis support through requirements analysis and solution design.
  • Undertake scoping, feasibility, and impact analysis for complex project requests, and provide high-level estimates with associated assumptions.
  • Articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical teams, and facilitate discussions to build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Support delivery planning by reporting potential risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.

  • Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse personalities and build effective working relationships.
  • Proactive in seeking answers, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great collaboration and facilitation skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and distil complex requests into clear, concrete steps.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively, with experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Awareness of app and web development technologies and practices, with comfort working on technical integrations and interrogating APIs.
  • Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and system availability.
  • Experience working as a Technical Analyst in a fast-paced agile software development environment.
  • Open to new ideas, willing to learn, and adaptable to changes.
