Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to lead our engineering functions within specific programs and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of overseeing technical solutions that meet contract requirements, delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the project engineering function for the execution of all aspects of programs/projects/bids, ensuring seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that proposed technical solutions meet technical contract requirements and communicate effectively across all relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Oversee adherence to internal processes for product development and certification, including change management, configuration management, risk management, and quality management.
  • Deliver integrated and overall solutions for systems or subsystems, meeting time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Provide and manage project plans, engineering schedules, task definition, effort estimations, and risks/opportunities.
  • Coordinate technical development tasks, priorities, dependencies, and design reviews across engineering disciplines, supported by a Systems Engineer.
  • Plan and execute engineering program/project activities within agreed budgets, collaborating with Program Managers.
  • Align demand for project engineering resources with line managers, ensuring effective resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing programs/projects and certification aspects, with a strong understanding of regulated environments.
  • Excellent skills in program execution, customer engagement, and team collaboration, with the ability to drive execution without direct control over resources.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries, such as aerospace or defense, with knowledge of security classifications and regulations.
  • International experience in managing technical teams or leading technical solutions and execution, with a strong understanding of multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Able to work in a flexible environment, with a willingness to spend three days on-site and two days remote.
