Rotork is embarking on a significant transformation project, and we are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

This critical role will play a key part in the production team, working on dynamic challenges and varied projects that will have a tangible impact on the efficiency of our production processes.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and documenting shop floor processes, ensuring they align with best engineering practice. You will also participate in audits, provide technical support, and investigate and resolve problems, with a focus on suggesting new processes and equipment where applicable.

This role requires a proactive and motivated individual with a strong analytical mind and attention to detail. You will work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively and being approachable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement shop floor processes
  • Document and maintain process documentation
  • Participate in audits and provide technical support
  • Investigate and resolve problems
  • Suggest new processes and equipment where applicable
Requirements
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Awareness of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques
  • Work experience in an engineering production environment
  • Mechanical bias
  • Relevant degree or apprenticeship training with experience
