Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Rotork plc is a global leader in flow control and instrumentation, serving various industries worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract during a transformative period.

This critical role within our production team will involve working on dynamic challenges and varied projects, with a tangible impact on the efficiency of our production processes. Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of engineering tasks and processes during a period of significant development and efficiency gains within our Leeds factory.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, implement, and document shop floor processes, adhering to best engineering practices. Your expertise will be essential in driving process improvements and ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement efficient shop floor processes, considering best engineering practices.
  2. Develop and document process improvements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  3. Collaborate with the production team to identify and address process inefficiencies.
  4. Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize production workflows.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working with ERP systems.
  2. Awareness of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques.
  3. Background in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  4. Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
