Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Application Engineer to join our dynamic and fully remote Agile team at InterAct Consulting. This role involves delivering exceptional products and applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will play a pivotal role in designing and constructing applications while collaborating with various teams responsible for different components of the product architecture. A successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams and designers to create innovative products and applications across multiple platforms.
  • Utilize React Native to design and implement user interface components for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop reusable, efficient, and scalable JavaScript code, creating interchangeable front-end modules.
  • Identify and understand customer and stakeholder requirements to ensure timely and high-quality app delivery.
  • Leverage additional JavaScript libraries, such as Redux, to enhance performance and facilitate asynchronous API interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mobile application development, particularly with the React Native framework.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, including ES6+ features.
  • Knowledge of the complexities associated with cross-platform development, including codebase management and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with essential native development tools such as Android Studio and Xcode.
  • Experience integrating with various back-end systems using SOAP/REST Web Services and managing client-side session handling for API integration.
