About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of teaching and learning activities, including the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Assist learners in engaging with teaching activities and promoting active learning, using digital platforms and assistive technology.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a purposeful and supportive learning environment, aligned with lesson and curriculum plans.
  • Use strategies, in collaboration with teachers and tutors, to support learners in achieving learning goals.
  • Provide teaching that builds on learners' existing knowledge and skills, breaking down complex tasks into manageable parts.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities, including the development of lesson plans and resources.
  • Establish clear communication and professional relationships with teachers, tutors, and other staff members, ensuring that all parties have a clear understanding of expectations.
Requirements
  • Hold or be working towards a Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification.
  • Hold or be working towards Maths and English Level 2/C grade qualifications.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, good verbal and written communication skills, empathy, and flexibility in meeting the needs of diverse learners and staff.
