Automation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Technician to join our manufacturing and production team in Chesterfield, North Derbyshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation and technical maintenance of assembly cells, valve assembly lines, and pump lines.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Conduct technical cleaning of equipment and repair/refurbish components used in the lines.
  • Utilise self-diagnosing systems for error detection via sensors (auto check).
  • Maintain and manage tools/toolboxes, ensuring all necessary tools are available.
  • Perform preventative and reactive technical maintenance on production lines.
  • Support the business by providing holiday and absence cover.
  • Train on warehousing software and systems, including Laser Guided Vehicles and Pick and Place.

Benefits:

  • Overtime available (time and a half as standard).

Chesterfield, North Derbyshire.
