About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Research and Development team as a Summer Placement. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in collaborating with our engineers to develop and test car components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and safety.

As a Summer Placement, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from designing and building test rigs to conducting experiments and analyzing data. You will also have the chance to work closely with our experienced engineers, learning from them and contributing your own ideas and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build test rigs and equipment to test car components
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to ensure components meet performance and safety standards
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and test new components and systems
  • Assist with the maintenance and operation of test equipment and facilities
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions for improving car performance and safety
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related field. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail.

You should also have a good understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes, as well as experience with data analysis and testing equipment.
