Junior Systems Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Junior Systems Project Manager to join our team at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. As a key member of our shore-based team, you will provide support and assistance for multiple business-critical projects, gaining valuable insights into project planning and delivery techniques.

In this role, you will take responsibility for the planning and delivery of change assigned to our continuous improvement workstream, typically smaller-scale changes to existing systems. You will liaise directly with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, ensuring that the change requested addresses the underlying business challenge or opportunity. Your tasks will include:

  • Providing support and assistance to Project Managers in all aspects of the project life cycle, including pre-project, initiation, supplier selection, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Managing the planning and delivery of smaller-scale changes to existing applications and services, both ship and shoreside, in line with Fred. Olsen's project methodology.
  • Liaising with 3rd party vendors to provide ad-hoc support for the reservations system, ensuring the resolution of operational issues is effectively communicated to business stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the testing of new applications and processes delivered as part of projects.
