About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Planning Analyst to join our team at Admiral Group Plc. As a key member of our Capital Planning team, you will play a crucial role in helping ensure the Group's solvency position is managed appropriately to maintain the long-term stability of the Group.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models used for solvency forecasting, stress testing, dividend planning, and strategic decisions.
  • Review and interpret large data sets from various sources across the business to produce high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the business and collaborate with teams across the Group to improve data quality and timeliness of analysis.
  • Identify and suggest enhancements to model development and reporting processes to ensure best practice and refine outputs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services and regulatory reporting is beneficial but not essential.
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to handle large data sets and develop informative reports for decision-making by varied audiences.
  • Track record of working in a multi-stakeholder environment, building strong relationships, and influencing for positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information in a simple and effective way to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, develop own ideas, and problem-solve.
  • Focus on high standards and attention to detail.
  • Appetite to make improvements and drive change.

Benefits and Work-Life Balance

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with length of service, up to a maximum of 38 days (including bank holidays). You also have the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave in addition to your allocation.
