Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the room attendants and porters to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
  • Supervise the distribution of work assignments to room attendants and porters.
  • Deal with guest requests and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Motivate the team and create a respectful rapport with guests and colleagues.
  • Work closely with reception to ensure a constant flow of serviced guest rooms as per occupancy requirements.
  • Report any maintenance items or defects found in the rooms and assigned areas.
  • Ensure soft furnishings and décor of rooms are maintained to standard.
  • Conduct training sessions where appropriate.
  • Carry out daily briefings with the team.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Opera is desirable.
