Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring efficient project delivery and high-quality results.
- Oversee staff and ensure adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Track project progress and report milestones to management, providing regular updates and insights.
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage, to optimize project efficiency.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards.
- Address issues and conflicts arising during construction, resolving them in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- A valid SMSTS qualification is required, demonstrating your expertise in construction management.
- A strong grasp of relevant construction software tools is advantageous, enabling you to streamline project management and improve efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities are essential, allowing you to effectively manage a diverse team of professionals, including subcontractors and site personnel.
- Impeccable time management and organisational abilities are required, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- A deep understanding of health and safety regulations in construction is essential, with a commitment to ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.
Working Conditions:
- Hours of work: 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Competitive day rate negotiable depending on experience.
- Working in a supportive and collaborative team setting.
- Please note that this position is based onsite Monday to Friday, as the nature of the role does not allow for hybrid working options.
