We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in Brentwood, Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Planned Works and Refurbishments to tenanted properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Control all expenditure and reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts.
- On-board Sub contractors/suppliers and ensure value for money & financial assessments.
- Manage day to day cost control & monitoring & reporting, and process Sub contractor requests for payment via application & invoice.
- Attend project & company related meetings and ensure timely cash flow management.
- Maintain & develop professional relationships with clients & customers.
- Degree or other technical qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor.
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
- Proven track record delivering contracts on time and within budget.
- Negotiating, communication & presentation skills, and knowledge of Supply Chain management.
- RICS / CIOB qualification is preferred.
