We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading health and wellbeing service, we provide mental health care for inpatient and community settings.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide medical leadership to one of our older adult inpatient teams based at our community hospital. You will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to trainees and specialty doctors, as well as carrying out duties as a Responsible Clinician.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership to the older adult inpatient team
- Carry out duties as a Responsible Clinician, including Mental Health Act assessments and preparation of tribunal reports
- Provide clinical supervision to trainees and specialty doctors
- Be available for timely CPA meetings and facilitate discharge planning
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with the following qualifications and experience:
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Registration with the General Medical Council and on the Specialist Register OR within six months
