The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our Housing Options service to maximize occupancy and support vulnerable clients into our hostel provision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing online referrals and allocations processes to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the Supported Tenancies team and other non-commissioned services to facilitate sideways moves.

Key Performance Indicators

The Housing Team Leader will be measured on their ability to:

  • Provide dual-function housing-related support and intensive housing management to service users.
  • Support service users in developing life skills and transitioning into independent accommodation.
  • Ensure the efficient day-to-day running of services, promoting good practice and adhering to policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must:

  • Be willing to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to cover holidays, sickness, and bank holidays.
  • Manage the Homes4Life service, line-managing the Supported Housing Officer team.
