Job Summary:

Glue Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our team. As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading technical projects and teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Project Management: Oversee the planning and allocation of project workloads to ensure timely delivery.
  • Design Execution: Perform detailed system designs according to customer specifications.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead project meetings and design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation Review: Review and approve technical drawings and documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external quality inspections.
  • Project Coordination: Develop and adhere to design timelines in line with customer specifications and project plans.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Serve as the primary interface for other departments on project-specific designs.
  • Team Development: Support and mentor the Design Engineering team, working closely with the Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's, Master's degree, or equivalent qualification in Design, Manufacturing, Production, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 4 years of engineering experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CAD, particularly Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong technical understanding with the ability to analyze complex data.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects and workloads, driving tasks to completion on time.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Collaborative with strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues across different departments.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organized, motivated, and adaptable with an open attitude.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to Travel: Must be able to travel within the UK and abroad as required.
