Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team at SCR social care. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to young people in our residential settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people, promoting their emotional wellbeing and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high standard of care, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Support young people in developing their life skills, including education, employment, and social skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of each young person are met.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Current DBS on the Update Service.
  • 1 year plus experience within social care.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach, with a calm and patient demeanor.
  • Dedicated and committed, with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is desirable but not essential.
