Children Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing emotional and practical support to young people in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the daily activities and interests of the young people
- Promote independence and wellbeing
- Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children
- Participate in weekend and evening activities to support the children's interests
- Protect the children from risks to their health and welfare
- Provide emotional and practical support to the young people
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines
- Support the young people in overcoming challenging behaviors
Requirements:
- A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
- Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
- At least 6 months experience of working with children or in a similar Social Care setting
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
