About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to join our team in Newcastle. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing emotional reassurance and support to a sociable lady with autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Empower independence by helping her live her life the way she chooses, achieve her goals, and be herself.
- Assist with daily tasks such as food shopping, bill payments, and domestic duties like cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Provide care and support with medication administration, occasional wheelchair assistance during outings, and prompting around personal care.
Shift Patterns
We offer flexible shift patterns, including Long Day Sleep-In Shifts (9am - 9am the following day), Day Shifts (9am - 6pm), and Sleep-Ins (10pm - 8am, paid to sleep).
