Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Site Installation Specialist - Flat Roofing Systems to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation of various flat roof systems, including felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, and structural waterproofing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of flat roof systems, including felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, and structural waterproofing.
  • Building and fostering relationships with our clients' approved roofing contractor network.
  • Training of approved contractor operatives, ensuring the content of the training and quality of delivery are to the highest possible standard.
  • Overseeing site installation monitoring, across all flat roofing and waterproofing systems.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of workmanship are upheld.
  • Delivering hands-on training for approved contractor operatives.
  • Carrying out site inspections for multiple ongoing projects.
  • Completing and distributing inspection reports following site inspections and quickly communicating any issues that require immediate attention.
  • Acting as an intermediary to assist the project team and contractors in resolving issues.

Requirements:

  • Must have installation experience working with various flat roofing systems, including felt roofing, green roofing systems, bitumen membranes, hot melt roofing, cold liquid applied waterproofing, waterproof roof coatings, single ply, and structural waterproofing.
  • Must have extensive experience with bitumen.
  • Experienced in delivery of training - Train the Trainer qualification advantageous.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
