About the Position:

We are a leading firm in engineering design and project execution focused on energy transition infrastructure. Our specialization in carbon capture, hydrogen, and renewable energy sectors, along with our commitment to sustainable design, distinguishes us in the industry. We are currently looking for a Structural SACS Analyst to contribute to an offshore windfarm substation initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct modeling and analysis of the global converter platform structure utilizing SACS software.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience with SACS.
  • Potential for advancement to Senior, Principal, or Lead Engineer roles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Design Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality Structural Engineering solutions using SACS.
  • Strong ability to apply engineering principles and collaborate effectively within a small team.
  • Experience in designing offshore platforms for the oil & gas or offshore wind sectors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with plated steel structures.
  • Knowledge of Eurocode 3 (EN and DNV-RP-C201).
  • Capability to perform hand calculations for SACS model inputs.
  • Understanding of Offshore Wind Foundation design methodologies.
  • Awareness of offshore wind regulations, codes of practice, and design standards.
  • Chartered Engineer status or progress towards it is advantageous.
