We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Neonatology Directorate at the Royal Oldham Hospital, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities:- Work on the medical neonatal intensive care Tier 2 rota, providing high-quality care to neonates and contributing to the delivery of a responsive service.
- Take on leadership roles and contribute to quality improvement projects, research, audit, and service development.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a range of neonates, performing neonatal invasive procedures as needed.
- NMC registration and MSc / Level 7 Advanced Practice Neonatal qualification.
- ANNP practice minimum 5 years and NLS provider status.
- Evidence of ordering, interpreting, and rationalising clinical investigations, as well as ability to perform neonatal specific invasive procedures.
The Neonatal Unit is one of Greater Manchester's 3 tertiary Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs), offering the full spectrum of medical neonatal care. As a Senior Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with senior paediatric trainees, senior neonatal clinical fellows, and senior ANNP to deliver high-quality care.
