About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our campers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver sports and activity sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of our campers.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work well under pressure. If you are a team player who is committed to delivering high-quality sports sessions, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to create a safe and engaging environment for campers
  • Design and deliver sports and activity sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of campers
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities
  • Ensure the welfare of children is paramount at all times
Requirements
  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities available)
