Unify is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing electrical maintenance and repair services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including testing and inspecting electrical installations.
- Implement electrical maintenance and corrective works on site, in accordance with maintenance instructions and site-specific procedures.
- Respond to reactive maintenance and breakdown calls, carrying out remedial work as necessary.
- Assume the role of Competent Person (Electrical) as authorized by the Authorised Person Controller.
- Carry out condition-based monitoring surveys and minor new works installations.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of plant and adjacent areas.
- Undertake defect surveys on electrical plant and systems, providing reports as requested by engineering management.
- Assist the Shift Supervisor in providing information for technical and incident reports.
- C&G 17th edition electrical certificate or willingness to complete the course.
- Qualified to C&G 2360.
- Experience in building service disciplines, including HVCA, and a proven track record in a building service environment.
- Good all-round knowledge of Facility Management and Building Services Engineering.
- Ability to establish, implement, and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety, and operational performance.
- Full and thorough understanding of operational health & safety.
