Exciting Opportunity for a Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our rapidly expanding engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing machines, performing preventative maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding on waste recycling equipment such as compactors and balers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites to install machines and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out fault-finding and repair work on waste recycling equipment.
  • Ensure van stock levels are correct and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Work closely with the current engineering team to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and background in mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems is essential.
  • Electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Previous experience within a mobile/field-based role.
  • Full driving licence.

  • On-call rota with a retainer rate of £100 per weekend.
