As an integral part of the committed group we assign to each young individual, you will play a crucial role in assisting children in developing essential life skills.
No specific qualifications are required for this position; however, a shared enthusiasm for supporting children in reaching their full potential is essential.
In exchange, our enhanced training programs will aid you in honing your professional abilities. You will have the chance to learn from some of the most devoted and inspiring professionals in our field, and like our residents, you will continuously grow through our ongoing mentorship and support.
We are seeking Night Care Assistants who are:
- Adaptable in working various shift patterns on a rota basis to accommodate your needs.
- Aiming for career advancement and training opportunities.
Night Care Assistants possess a genuine passion for working with young individuals and aspire to make a positive impact on their lives.
Your desire to see our young people lead fulfilling, active, and enjoyable lives will significantly influence their wellbeing and development.
As a Night Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and assisting young individuals if they awaken during the night.
- Administering any prescribed emergency medication as needed.
- Establishing and nurturing positive professional relationships with both staff and young individuals.
- Encouraging and motivating young individuals to rise and prepare for their day.
- Supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of young individuals.
- Helping young individuals cultivate their confidence and sense of identity.
While a full driving license is not mandatory for this role, it is essential that you can reach our location, as shifts typically run overnight.
There may be opportunities in the future to transition to daytime shifts for those interested.
We are dedicated to safeguarding and protecting the young individuals and service users in our care. All candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and reference verification.
CareTech UK will perform online searches of shortlisted candidates as part of our safeguarding procedures. This check will focus solely on determining an individual's suitability to work with children, conducted by a neutral party to prevent any unconscious bias or discrimination.
