Role Overview


As a member of our team, you will engage in pivotal projects aimed at enhancing and developing AI systems for Stepstone.

Within the AI Labs division, your focus will be on classical machine learning applications for forecasting, scoring, classification, and data enrichment, as well as creating essential components for training, evaluating, and deploying large language models.


Your Key Responsibilities:


• Participate actively in the engineering, design, implementation, and deployment processes necessary for scaling our machine learning models.

• Drive projects from conception through experimentation, prototyping, and final implementation.

• Collaborate with our tech stack, which includes AWS SageMaker, MLFlow, Terraform, among others, while also assessing and integrating new tools and technologies to enhance our efficiency.

• Engage with current large language models, focusing on fine-tuning and scaling open-source models for production.

• Work alongside fellow Machine Learning Engineers to establish and refine best practices within our community.

• Liaise with various product owners across the organization to define and analyze their technical challenges, contributing to effective problem-solving and solution formulation.

Qualifications

• Proven industry experience with cloud-based machine learning services, particularly with AWS offerings, especially SageMaker.

• Strong expertise in developing scalable machine learning and large language model solutions.

• Proficient knowledge of Docker and CI/CD processes (e.g., Atlassian Bamboo).

• Experience in utilizing or developing model management tools (e.g., MLflow).

• Familiarity with large language models is highly advantageous.
