To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A technical background with experience gained within commercial/corporate insurance broking.
  • A comprehensive understanding of most classes of commercial insurance risk.
  • Confident handling new and existing business, providing quotations, handling renewals, MTA's, market submissions, presentations, negotiations, etc.
  • Good relationships with local and regional insurers.
  • Acturis experience would be preferred.
  • Progression towards achieving CII qualifications.
  • Strong presentations and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team and contribute to the team.
  • Track record of building strong insurer and client relationships.
  • Acturis experience essential as well as being computer literate.
  • ACII qualifications or working towards preferred.
