Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Tax Manager in managing the company's tax profile.
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of corporation tax returns.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Developing tax planning strategies to minimise tax liabilities.
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Communicating with tax authorities and external advisors when necessary.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of tax procedures and controls.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA).
- Experience in tax compliance and planning.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
