Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their team in a Birmingham hospital. The successful candidate will work within the hospital's inpatient services, providing high-quality care to patients.

About the Role:

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for applying OT interventions to patients, both individually and in groups. They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to identify patients' occupational needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT interventions to patients, including 1:1 and group work
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to identify patients' occupational needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Monitor and record patients' progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely updating of clinical records and computerized information systems

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc pre-registration or BSc)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
