An exceptional opportunity awaits for a highly experienced Employment Solicitor to join a distinguished, Legal 500 recognized team at the Partner Level. This position is ideal for either a seasoned partner or a senior associate aspiring to elevate their career to partnership.

The firm is acknowledged as a frontrunner in employment law, specializing in areas such as discrimination, whistleblowing, and workplace misconduct, as well as partnerships and academic institutions. The role will primarily focus on complex discrimination cases, which are often intricate and substantial in nature. Candidates should possess the gravitas and enthusiasm necessary to navigate these challenging legal matters. Additionally, the caseload may encompass financial misconduct issues, thus a strong background in litigation is highly desirable.

In this role, you will represent senior executives, corporations, and various institutions in complex, high-stakes legal matters. The firm has a robust pipeline of work, eliminating the need for you to bring a significant client base upon joining. This position is designed to redistribute high-level work from a current partner who aims to focus more on business development and management responsibilities.

You will be part of a team that provides counsel on both contentious and non-contentious issues, represents clients in mediations, and manages litigation in both the High Court and employment tribunals, guiding cases from pre-litigation through to resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Approximately 10+ years of post-qualification experience in employment law;
  • Expertise in matters involving senior executives and respondent cases;
  • Experience in both contentious and non-contentious legal work;
  • Qualified legal practitioner in England & Wales;
  • A strong academic background, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills.
