We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Fourblue, a premier multi-utility connections provider. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing project costs, ensuring financial efficiency, and delivering exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various stages of projects, including initial proposals and final valuations.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review and administer contracts, including negotiating terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and prepare regular financial reports.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend corrective actions to keep projects within budget.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to provide financial insights and support project decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with clients and contractors to address any financial issues.
- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Assess potential impacts of changes in project scope, schedule, or design on costs and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and documentation related to the project.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working with an ICP or Multi-Utility Contractor.
