About the Role
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, and deploying staff to meet patient needs
- Developing and implementing effective care plans to meet individual patient preferences and needs
- Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to manage the care environment and reduce the use of restrictive practices
- Building and maintaining relationships with patients, families, and carers to encourage trust and understanding
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient records and risk assessments
- Providing clinical supervision and supporting the development of nursing staff
- Contributing to the delivery of specific outcome measures and quality improvement initiatives
About Tavener Ward
Tavener Ward is a 16-bed inpatient care and rehabilitation unit for adult men with acquired or traumatic brain injuries and complex mental health needs. Our team focuses on individual goal-planning with each patient, agreeing on specific behaviors to develop or reduce. We also offer a safe and supportive environment for patients to develop daily living skills, cognition, and behavioral management.
