Position Overview

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Membership Coordinator to join a leading global corporate environmental organization. This role is pivotal in assisting the Senior Membership Coordinator in ensuring the integrity of membership records and details related to Fixed Premium P&I Associate vessels. The primary objective is to enhance the membership database, conduct thorough due diligence, provide training, and engage effectively with various stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include managing the membership communication channels, addressing urgent matters promptly, and collaborating with both internal and external parties. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining precise membership records, ensuring that all documentation is current, establishing new accounts, updating member information, and reaching out to members for additional details.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee membership inquiries and ensure timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records.
  • Assist in the analysis of membership data and generate concise reports.
  • Support the Senior Membership Coordinator in various projects aimed at enhancing the membership database.
  • Contribute to the development of presentations and stay informed on industry trends.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in membership or customer service.
  • Proficient in data management and record-keeping.
  • Experience with database administration and improvement, preferably with Apex Oracle.
  • Background in relevant sectors such as non-profit, maritime, insurance, or environmental protection.
  • Ability to create and deliver insightful reports and presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with the implications of sanctions in the maritime sector is advantageous.
  • Experience with risk and compliance tools, such as Seasearcher, is preferred.
