Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our community Band 6 rotation at East London NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for OTs to consolidate their skills and experience in a dynamic and diverse environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work across various clinical areas, including community rapid response and intermediate care teams, community therapy teams, wheelchair services, and reablement teams. They will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients with a wide range of conditions, including assessing and developing treatment programs, providing individual and group education, and advocating for patients' needs.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 18 months of clinical experience in a broad range of specialties relevant to the post
  • Knowledge of a broad range of clinical conditions
  • Equipment provision and assessment
  • Working within a multidisciplinary and/or occupational therapy team
  • Contributing to professional development and clinical education of more junior staff, students, and assistants
Person Specification
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at recent postgraduate courses/training relevant to clinical specialty
  • DBS clearance
