We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Lecturer to join our team at the University of Warwick Campus, Coventry.
The Power Electronics Applications and Technology in Energy Research (PEATER) group is a world-leading research group working in power electronics. We are now seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor on the traditional research and teaching pathway in an area that strengthens, or expands upon, our current areas of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach existing and new modules to the highest quality in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Discipline Stream in the School of Engineering.
- Initiate, develop, and deliver high-quality research in power electronics, publish top-tier journal papers, and demonstrate the potential for impact from your research.
- Engage with higher education pedagogy and be willing to develop novel teaching methods, embracing changes in teaching technology and expectations.
- PhD in a relevant discipline.
- Ability to demonstrate the capability to establish an independent research activity which has the ambition and potential to become internationally leading.
- Experience in power electronics, device design, fabrication, and testing.
