Firefighter

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a dedicated and skilled Firefighter to join their team. As a Firefighter, you will be an integral part of an operational firefighting and emergency response team, responsible for protecting people and property from fire and other hazards.

• Respond to emergency calls and requests for assistance in a swift and safe manner
• Work effectively and efficiently as a member of a disciplined team to prevent emergencies, minimize their impact, and respond effectively
• Participate in training and development programs to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge
• Contribute to the prevention of emergencies through community engagement and education

• Enhanced police check
• Full driving license and access to a vehicle
• Ability to live within 2 miles of Douglas Fire Station or within the Douglas town boundary
