About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team providing a therapy service across Queens and King George hospitals. The successful candidate will have the ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary working environment and rotate on a 6 monthly basis across various medical specialties, including care of the elderly, surgical, orthopaedic, stroke, and neurological settings.

Main Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for performing occupational therapy assessments of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical, cognitive, and psychological/mental health conditions. They will provide a diagnosis of functional status, develop and deliver individualized treatment plans, and hold responsibility for their own caseload.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration
  • Recent broad clinical experience as a student or as a Band 5
