Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Investment and Pension Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our advisers, ensuring that customer service is of the highest standard and regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain current fund values for investments and create reports for customers, maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out research activities to assist in the advice process with clients.
  • Support the production of pensions, life, and investments valuations and quotes using established procedures and formats.
  • Contribute to organisation and planning by introducing new and improved procedures and making best use of resources.
  • Manage the distribution of customers' letters of authority to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Undertake general administrative duties, such as scanning, filing, preparing letters, and telephone calls, to ensure deadlines are met and records are maintained.
  • Generate client-facing documents to complete the advice process.
  • Manage platform funds on an ongoing basis to meet customer requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Continually maintain and develop technical, product, and industry knowledge to keep pace with developments and change.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of using computers and general software packages, with a high degree of IT literacy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the pensions and investment sector.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiastic and inspiring character.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy department.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CII Level 3 Certificate or Level 4 Diploma (although not essential).
