Job Title:

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Search International. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing skilled support in matters relating to premises maintenance and machinery repair.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensuring plant equipment is operating and functioning correctly
  2. Maintaining equipment on a daily basis to ensure it is fit for purpose
  3. Ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained daily
  4. Continually developing to improve operations and drive improvements in quality, cost, and safety
  5. Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when necessary
  6. Completing daily maintenance check sheets and job cards
Requirements:
  1. A BTEC/C&G in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
  2. Post-apprenticeship experience in food manufacturing or relevant work experience
  3. 18th Edition training would be an advantage
  4. Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan workloads effectively
  5. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Attention to detail, commitment, and ability to accept responsibility
  7. Commitment to working within the Company Mission, Vision & Values
